CS Sudha Sarma

CS Sudha Sarma is a Fellow member (FCS) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and an Honours Graduate in Commerce from Gauhati University. She is also a registered Goods & Service Tax (GST) Practitioner and a registered Trade Marks Agent. She possesses more than 17 years of post qualification experience. After 12 years of successful corporate career as ‘Company Secretary cum Chief Finance Officer’ in two leading companies, the first being in the manufacturing sector and the later in the hospitality and real estate development sector, she started her practice in 2015. Since then, she has been rendering advisory and compliance services in a broad array of matters pertaining to Company Law, Corporate Governance, FEMA, GST, Central Excise, Corporate Taxation, Labour Laws and Trademarks. Her specialty also extends to complete litigation support before various adjudicating/ appellate authorities, including National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Customs Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) etc. She also imparts professional advisory and support to business start-ups in finalization of contracts, statutory licensing, project financing, subsidies under the North East Investment Policies etc.
